Powering Performance On and Off the Field
Think Renewable is proud to announce our new partnership with the Cronulla Sharks, becoming the front-of-shorts sponsor for both the Sharks NRL and NRLW teams for the remainder of the 2026 season, while extending into 2027 as the NRLW shorts sponsor. This exciting partnership marks a significant milestone for Think Renewable as we continue to grow our national presence and support communities across Australia.
From helping Australian households and businesses make the switch to cleaner, more affordable energy, to creating meaningful community impact, Think Renewable has always been focused on building a more sustainable future. Partnering with one of Australia’s most recognised sporting clubs gives us another platform to champion that mission while connecting with communities that share our values.
Why This Partnership Made Sense
At Think Renewable, community has always been at the heart of what we do. Whether we’re helping families reduce their energy bills, supporting initiatives such as ReForest Now, or empowering Australians to become more energy independent.
The Cronulla Sharks share many of the same values. As organisations deeply connected to their communities, we’re united by a commitment to growth, long-term impact and creating opportunities for future generations. The partnership also reflects our belief that performance and sustainability go hand in hand, both on the field and in everyday life.
As Think Renewable Co-Founder and CEO Daniel Tonkin said:
“We’re especially excited to support both the Sharks’ NRL and NRLW programs, recognising the continued growth of the women’s game and the positive role sport plays in creating opportunities for future generations.”
For Think Renewable, partnering with the Sharks was a natural fit. Both organisations believe in supporting local communities, driving positive change and investing in a better future.

What Fans Can Expect
This partnership is about much more than a logo on the shorts.
Fans can expect to see Think Renewable prominently featured throughout the Sharks’ ecosystem, including:
- Stadium signage and branding throughout key match days
- Match day activations that bring fans closer to the action
- Exclusive offers and opportunities for Sharks members and supporters
With the Think Renewable logo now appearing on the playing kits of both the NRL and NRLW teams, we’re excited to become part of the Sharks experience and engage directly with supporters throughout the season.
A Shared Vision for the Future
The Sharks recognised the strong alignment between our organisations from the outset.
Cronulla Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta welcomed the partnership, saying:
“Under the leadership of founders David Howie, Rory Dixon, and Daniel Tonkin, Think Renewable has shown remarkable growth since its inception in 2021, making a significant impression in the renewable energy sector in just a short period of time.
They have also made community impact a core part of their identity, which aligns with our values.
We are excited to be entering into this partnership and are appreciative of their support, and I have no doubt this will be a mutually beneficial association for both organisations.”
Think Renewable Co-Founder David Howie added:
“We’re passionate about making renewable energy simple and accessible for everyday Australians.
Sport is a powerful vehicle for bringing communities together, and this partnership with the Sharks reflects our shared commitment to sustainability, community and creating a better future for the next generation.” [Full article here]
